RECOMMENDED BOOKS

When it comes to parenting books, you might wonder: How useful are they?

I once attended a parenting talk and to my surprise, the speaker said “Don’t bother to buy and read books … it’s so much better and more practical these days to check out tips online.” My response? Yes, online tips are useful for you to get some idea of what’s out there. But what I found consistently lacking in numerous online sites is one thing: DEPTH. Good books provide in-depth discussion and pointers that are missing from most online resources.

Here are the parenting books I have found particularly useful in my parenting journey. What I really would like to do is to review each of them, but then again, there’s the time constraint … Please take note that they are arranged in NO PARTICULAR ORDER. They deal with different issues concerning children of different ages.
