A mother was exasperated with her son’s love for trendy, branded clothes. The mother wanted to teach her son a lesson. She bought a reasonably-priced, non-branded but durable pair of jeans. Then she sewed on the label from a branded pair of jeans and gave it to her son as a gift. After some time, the mother told the young man what she did. That taught him a lesson that branded items may or may not be better than non-branded ones. Equally important, if he wants branded items, he should earn it rather than demand it from the mother.
