Teach your child the difference between PRAISE and FEEDBACK.
We are often told to praise children to encourage them to do good. Children feel happy when we praise them to approve their good behaviour. In the long run, however, kids should be taught to value feedback more and praise less. Otherwise, their happiness will depend on the amount of praise they get from friends, family, colleagues. Besides, honest feedback can really help children see their weaknesses and strengths. Honest feedback is far more valuable than praise. The earlier you teach your child the value of feedback, the better they become and the more they can achieve in their life.
