The best asset your child has is his mind. The best lesson you can give is to teach him how to think. One way to do this is to be curious yourself; ask questions about things that you don’t understand. For example, if you don’t know how an LCD TV works, ask “I wonder how this thing works. Any ideas, dear?” Ask and ask and ask. Ask questions about God, about people, about things. Don’t be afraid if you yourself don’t know the answers. Explore. ~ Jamilah Samian
