If you want your children to respect you and treat you well in old age, treat your own parents with full love and respect. What goes around comes around. At the very least, call your mother and father, if they are still around, several times a week. If they are no longer around, visit and help the old folks you know so your children get to watch and observe the noble way of dealing with the elderly.
