On a recent Saturday morning, Ahmad Fakhri and I spoke to top scholars of Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng on the topic of “Live Your Dream” – why they absolutely must put in their best efforts to contribute to humanity. It was the third time the two of us connected with scholars of the same organisation. Too often, we parents and educators emphasise on short term goals. We fail to help our youngsters see the big picture, and understand why they must strive to be extraordinary. When the WHY is clear, everything else becomes easier.
