Never teach children sarcasm. Sarcasm is rude, humiliating and doesn’t teach us what to do because of the vague language. Saying “You are so smart” with a tone of voice and body language that indicate the opposite is unkind and confusing especially for children. The smart parent uses clear and simple language that is easy for everyone to understand.
