Kindness moves mountains. The Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him] is the epitome of kindness. Once there was an old woman who used every opportunity to insult the Prophet. She would scatter dirt and filth on pathways frequented by the Prophet. The Prophet never complained. One day, the Prophet didn’t find anything on the road and enquired about her. He was told that the old lady was ill. The Prophet promptly visited her. The old lady was shocked. She said that her son, who lived nearby, didn’t even bother to visit her! But the Prophet, whom she hated and insulted, did the opposite. The Prophet’s kindness melted her heart. “Kindness is loving people more than they deserve.” ~ Anon
