Do not let anxiety and frustration get the better of you if the same things you do with your daughters don’t work with your sons. A girl might be of the same age but not necessarily the same developmental stage as a boy. Girls develop sooner in some areas and boys develop sooner in some other areas. Girls tend to show a keener sense of hearing earlier than boys. Boys, on the other hand, tend to develop spatial intelligence earlier e.g. boys are better at reading maps and identifying buildings at a younger age. But remember that these are only tendencies; every child develops at his own pace.
